We spent about seven and a half hours on an airplane yesterday. We flew from Dulles to Chicago to Austin to El Paso. We didn't ever have to change planes, but it was a long trip. The girls were fabulous. The snuggled up together, they colored, they played games, we read books, and we ate. Somehow we stayed busy.
The flight crew that got on in Chicago gave the girls activity books from Southwest. The books were okay, but they came with fabulous pencils, modeled her behind the ears of their owners. Each pencil could color in blue, green, red, or yellow.
We did get off the plane in Austin to make a bathroom stop and grab some lunch at Schlotszkey's to eat on the final leg of the flight. By the time we got to El Paso we were all wiped out, but the girls continued to be helpful and fabulous!
